Hi, I’m Amy. By day, I wrangle words at a tech job. By night (and weekends, and any spare moment), I’m writing stories about messy people figuring themselves out.
My writing style is what I call “cozy brutalism”—low stakes, high feelings, with humor sprinkled throughout. My protagonists are their own worst enemies and harshest critics, but they’re desperate to be known and understood. (I might be projecting a little.)
When I’m not writing or designing content, I’m probably buying materials for a new hobby, slowly getting worse at ukulele, or thinking way too hard about language and how humans tell stories. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my boyfriend, our feline roommates, and one monstera plant that refuses to die, no matter how bad of a plant mom I am, and I’m working toward self-publishing my first books in 2026.
